Dit was Aand en dit was Môre is a 1977 South African film by Franz Marx.

The film

Maggie has been waiting for years for the love of her life to return. She has no direction or purpose because she can't understand why he left. Then she finds a sweet man to marry and all seems well, but soon after, her lost love returns.

Production Team

The film was directed by Franz Marx and written by both Franz Marx and Jac J. Brits. It was produced by Albie Venter and Madel Venter. P.J. Venter was the executive producer. Cinematography was by Koos Roets and film editing by David de Beyer. William Bell was the makeup artist while production management was taken care of by Philip Markgraaff as the production manager and Paul van Schalkwyk as the unit manager. Marina Heyns was responsible for props (Art Department) and Ian Ross for sound (Sound Department). The Camera and Electrical Department were managed by Umberto Adaggi (still photographer) and Ernest Kleynhans (assistant camera). Marina Heyns was the costumer and Greg Upton the assistant editor. Helena Spring was responsible for continuity.

The Cast

The cast includes Magda Beukes ("Maggie Aucamp"), Anna Neethling-Pohl ("Sofia"), Franz Marx ("Petrus Verwey"), Olga Heunis ("Tant Baby"), Anton Heunis ("Oom Servaas"), Lerina Erasmus ("Sally Vermaak") and Heinrich Marnitz ("Gerrit van Wyk").
