Perold directed a number of plays for the Arts Theatre Club, including: The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, Aged 13¾ (1995), A Little Peace of the Sixties (1996), Three Wicked Women and a Lady (1996), A Slice of the Seventies (1996), Sylvia's Secret Salmagundi (1997), Finally the Fifties (1997), Everyman (1998), A Little Bit Country, A Little Bit Rock and Roll (1998).
