He wrote, directed and starred in Not Now, Darling, together with Rex Garner, at The Academy Theatre of Laughter in 1967. His Uproar in the House was staged at The Academy Theatre of Laughter in July 1967. He directed, and co-wrote Move over Mrs Markham, together with John Chapman. It was staged at the Academy in 1971 and became the company’s longest-running farce. Pieter Toerien presented his farce Run for Your Wife starring Rex Garner and Michael Richard at the Alhambra Theatre in February 1984.
