Performance history in South Africa
Besides a number of radio versions, the novel has also been adapted for the stage.
1972: A stage version of the novel, directed by Truida Louw and performed by Katinka Heyns was done in the Arena Theatre, Johannesburg, by PACT as part of a double bill (with Kamer 99 by Dolf van Niekerk). Sound by George Ballot and stage management by Max Curtis.
2001 Performed by Nicole Holm, directed by Juanita Swanepoel.
