Liewe Lisa ("Dear Lisa") is a romantic Afrikaans film by Hendrik Cronje.

The film

Daniel dreams of becoming a writer but finds himself trapped in an illicit affair with the wife of a powerful businessman and to compound things falls in love with the same couple’s daughter. Found out, he abandons his current life and, in the process, meets a simple fisherman, who eventually helps him to achieve his true potential.

Written and directed by Hendrik Cronje, assisted by Corné Crous, with a cast that included Hendrik Cronje, Zane Meas, Barbara-Marié Immelman, Albert Maritz, Altus Schreuder, Marco Spaumer, Annie van Huyssteen, Johannes Pieter Nel, Crystal-Donna Roberts, Stian Bam and Elani Dekker.

The film was produced for Kompanjie Stories by Hendrik Cronje and Johan Tobias Cronje, with music by Danie du Toit, cinematography by Johannes Pieter Nel and Ebert Steyn, and editing by Hendrik Cronje.

Released in South Africa by Ster-Kinekor on 14 February, 2019.
