Tsonga academic, linguist, translator and compiler. She revised S.J. Baloyi's Tsonga translation of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar (Savona, 1957)for the second edition, in 1973, published by Swiss Mission in S.A. in Kensington, Transvaal. Also co-translated Macbeth with Felix M. Shilote and co-compiled the collection of short stories Madaladala / Stars in the sky. (Braamfontein: Sasavona) with C.T.D. Marivate in 1982.
Wrote Matatani a collection of notes on Tsonga dramas, under the name C.N.P. Nkondo (Charlotte P. N. Nkondo) , Published Pretoria : Rostrum, 1992.
