Megan is married to actor Martin le Maitre.

Graduated from the Witwatersrand University with a BA Dram (Hons) in 1988.
Career

She directed the Wits Kampustoneel entry Die Eend. She directed Die Eend for TRUK, 1993, Downside Up, Don Gxubane Onner die Boere in 1994, Vrouens Pis nie op Straat nie in 1996, by Charles J. Fourie Macbeth 1998, Othello (1998), Crashing the Night 2000, For Better, For Wors for the The Kultcha Klub One Night stand Festival and Educating Rita, also for The Kultcha Klub. Much Ado about Nothing (2007), Neil LaBute's Bash [1] (2014), .
Megan is a co-writer of the two-hander play For Better, For Wors (produced in 2002) and she wrote Play@Risk and directed performances in 2001 and 2002.
She acted in The Threepenny Opera as a student in 1987; played "Moira" in Braait Laaities in 1991; acted in Score Me the Ages (1989), Hanna, Hanna Ek Sê, Inherit the Wind (1990), Homeland (1992), The Crucible 1996, The Winter's Tale (Maynardville 1997), Simpatico, Antony and Cleopatra (1999).
On television she appeared in If This Be Treason in 1998.
NELM holds a theatre programme ( [Collection: TURNER, Sophie]: 2001. 30. 6. 58) for the play The Reckoning Force which was apparently written by Megan Willson.
Awards, etc
She received the Johannesburg Repertory Players award twice during her student years. She won a Loerie Gold for her direction on the AIDS play Secrets and Lies.
