Die verlossing ("the redemption") is an Afrikaans radio drama, based on a novel by Willem Elsschot (1882 – 1960)[1] and adapted and translated by Ken Swart.

The original text
De verlossing is a tragicomic novel about the struggle waged between the socialist freethinker Pol van Domburg and a local pasor.
Published by Van Kampen, Amsterdam, in 1921.
Translations and adaptations
The Flemish novel was adapted for radio and translated into Afrikaans by Ken Swart
