New South African Playscripts is a collection of six new plays published by Twist Theatre Development Projects.

The result of the play development project in 2010, the collection contains an Introduction section on the process, the plays and the playmakers by Emma Durden and Kobus Moolman, and the following six play texts:

Camp 13 by David Stein, Jerry Pooe and The Just Don't Theatre Group.

Isimangaliso by Bhekani Thabede, Edmund Mhlongo and Sakhisiswe Theatre Group. (2 hander title: Still Waiting)

The Poisoned Mango by Anton Kreuger, Zeph Nzama and Umpithi Theatre Arts.

Kwanele: It Was Enough by Amy Jephta, Themi Venturas and Uthando Lwabaqulusi.

To Be Like This Rock by Neil Coppen, Debbie Lutge and Umsindo Theatre Projects.

The Wedding Goat by Daveshan Govender, Bheki Mkwhane and Ubuntubesizwe Productions. (2 hander title: Legacy 2)
