1986: First South African production in Afrikaans by CAPAB, opening 3 November 1986, directed by Marthinus Basson, with a cast that included David Clatworthy, Mark Hoeben, Neels Coetzee, Johan Esterhuizen, Lionel Newton, Jamie Bartlett, Edward Turner, Susan Dall, David Butler, Robert Finlayson, Leslie Fong, Marion Holm, Antoinette Kellermann, Claire Berlein, Willie Fritz, Gustav Geldenhuys, Fiona Coyne. Lighting by Pieter de Swardt. Music by Johan Cloete and Peri Lykiardopoulos.

1987: The same production presented at the National Arts Festival, July 1987.
