A 2000 play by British dramatist and director working for stage, television and film, Terry Johnson (1955-) [1], adapted from the 1963 novel by American novelist Charles Webb (1939- ) [2] and the 1967 screenplay by Calder Willingham and Buck Henry.

1995: In the Pieter Roos-teater in the Johannesburgse Stadskouburg.
2001: Staged in the Montecasino Theatre in July 2001, directed by Maralin Vanrenen, with Theo Landey (Benjamin), Dorothy-Ann Gould (Mrs Robinson), Tessa Jubber (Elaine), Drummond Marais (Mr Robinson). Sets designed by Anthony Farmer.
