Performance history in South Africa

1889: Performed by Lionel Brough as part of his repertoire while on tour in South Africa under the auspices of Luscombe Searelle, inter alia appearing in it for a few nights at the Vaudeville Theatre, Cape Town towards the end of the year.

1902: Performed by the comedian Willie Edouin when he was brought out to perform in South Africa by the Wheeler Theatre Company in March.
