Vrystaat Trilogie ("Free State Trilogy") is a collection of three Afrikaans plays by Reza de Wet (1952-2012).

Vrystaat Trilogie: The original Afrikaans collection
First published in 1991 by HAUM-Literêr, Pretoria. Contains the full length plays: Diepe Grond, Op Dees Aarde and Nag, Generaal.
Winner op the Rapport Prize (awarded to the best book published in Afrikaans during the previous year), award year 1992 (Database NELM Literary Awards).
Theatre Two: The English version of the collection
The plays in the collection were translated into English as African Gothic, Good Heavens and Breathing In and published as a collection called Plays Two: African Gothic - Good Heavens - Breathing In (Also known as De Wet: Plays Two or simply Plays Two) by Oberon Books, London, in 2005, with an Introduction by Marthinus Basson.
