Stage roles include I Spy (1959), Give Me Besides My Daily Bread, Uncle and the Jukebox (1950), The King of Diamonds, the musical ([[NTO] 1961) , Red Peppers (1969), The Taming of the Shrew (NAPAC 1981), The Wizard of Oz (1991), Out of Order (1992), the mother in It Runs in the Family (1993-4), Rebecca Nurse in The Crucible (1996).
She is well known for her work for Springbok Radio. She worked extensively with students as a permanent member of the University of Natal Sneddon Theatre Company.
Her film and television work includes Lamborene, Tropical Heat and many foreign films.
