Daan se Doilie is an Afrikaans farce by Pieter Fourie (1940-2021)
Contents
The original text
A farce about a pair of twins and their emotional links, it was written in 1990 and submitted to PACT for performance in August. The performance was not well received by and large, and in fact became part of a storm that had erupted around his position and output as resident dramatist at PACT even before he began the play. It would be the last piece written under his contract and the contract would not be renewed. The text has never been published.
