J.M. Belinfante (fl. 1860s-1880s) was a Dutch speaking citizen of Cape Town, and an amateur playwright and actor.

A member of the Cape Town based rederijkerskamer called Aurora II (1866-1887), he both acted for them and wrote some Dutch plays, including De Ster van het Noorden (1872), De Diamanten der Kroon (1873),
