Die Beeld ("The image" or "the sculpture") was a Sunday newspaper.

Not to be confused with the daily newspaper Beeld ("Image").

The publication

Die Beeld was launched in Johannesburg on 31 October 1965 by Naspers, edited by Schalk Pienaar and appearing from 1965 to 1970.

In 1970 Die Beeld was amalgamated with the newspapers Dagbreek and Landstem to become the major Sunday newspaper Rapport.
