He studied at the University of Cape Town under Robert Mohr.
Career
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He made his debut in Flora Stohr's production of Ann Jellicoe's The Sport of my Mad Mother at the Little Theatre, and was singled out in the cast while performing in Germany at the student festival in 1962.
Other stage roles include Waiting for Godot, Mourning Becomes Electra (PACT 1967).
He apeared as Firs in The Cherry Orchard and Eddie in Tango for CAPAB in 1970.
He directed Oh Dad, Poor Dad, Mama’s Hung you in the Closet and I’m feeling so Sad in 1965.
