On stage he has appeared in The Firstborn, Rope, The Government Inspector, [[Crime Passionel] and Family Portrait.
He directed Intermezzo by the Little Theatre Players at the Little Theatre, Cape Town, in December 1950, and the University of Cape Town's Dramatic Society production of The Ascent of F6 by W.H. Auden and C. Isherwood in 1951.
