Goede Morgen Mijnheer Visser! (lit. "Good morning mr fisherman") is a German one act comedy by W. Friedrich ()[].

The original text

Except for an entry in F.C.L. Bosman (1980: 452), no other reference has been found for this play. As it was part of an evening involving a song by Melt Brink, it is possible that he wrote the play as well.

Translations and adaptations

Translated into Dutch by Marinus J. Gillissen. and published in Zutphen by Schillemans & Van Belkum.

Performance history in South Africa

1897: Produced in Dutch as by Door Ijver bloeit de Kunst in the Good Hope Hall on 31 August, with Adelaide van Beyeren (Tréogate) and a song sung in honour of Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands on her birthday (the song written by Melt Brink).
