Performance history in South Africa

1978-1979: Produced by Brickhill-Burke at His Majesty's Theatre in 1978, after which the production went on a nationwide tour, including the Baxter Theatre in 1979. Director and Choreographer: Joan Brickhill, Louis Burke. The cast: Jessica Jones, Erica Rogers, Michael McGovern, Barry Jarman, Eddie Eckstein, Pete Clifford, Paul Ditchfield, Tobie Cronjé with The Bats.

1982: At the Civic Theatre, Johannesburg, Brickhill-Burke brought back their great success, opening 25 May. After a run in Sydney, Australia, it returned to the Civic with cast changes.
