Worked with the National Theatre (1963), NAPAC (1965-1967) and PACT (from 1968).

Performed in Misalliance (with PACT in 1978), The Passion of Dracula (for Toerien/Firth in 1979), Ross (with PACT in 1979), Bodies (at the Market Theatre in 1980), The Merchant of Venice (at the Market Theatre in 1980)
He also starred in the Leonard Schach production of Kennedy's Children at the Chelsea Theatre in 1975, in a revival of Journey's End in February 1977, in Relatively Speaking (1978), and in Amadeus (1981).
Other productions include The Passion of Dracula (1979), Tinker's Curse (circa 1970), In the Bag (1968), Journey's End (1977), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (1977), The Lion in Winter (1968).
