(18**-18**) Circus performer, singer and actor. Billed as "eerste vokale acteur ..van den Schouwburg, Mauritius" ("first vocal actor...Theatre, Mauritius"). Also listed by F.C.L. Bosman (1928) as Monsieur Crosset or simply M. Crosset.
A member of the French Dramatic Artistes who had arrived from Mauritius as part of an Italian Circus led by Signor Severo and Dalle Case in November 1847. Advertised as "first vocal actor, Tenor ....of the Theatre, Mauritius". Married to Madame Crosset, also a member of the company. In February 1848 a number of the artists broke away to form a company led by Dalle Case. M. Crosset is listed as a singer and performer in a number of performances by the Dalle Case Company, inter alia in De Twee Savoyanen (14 February 1848, with Monsieur Victor).
By March 1848 the company had to close due to financial; difficulties and C. Crosset), and two other leading artists (L. Victor and X. Hus) then formed the Theatre de L'Union in March 1848, but by the end of September the company had disappeared.
