Richard Daneel (19**-) was a stage and film actor and director, and a well known mime-artist.
Studied in France with Marcel Marceau.
Productions include The Chairs (Ionesco) which he translated and directed for NTO in the NTO Kamertoneel (1959), Comoedia (a mime programme for NTO, 1960), Jean Anouilh’s Romeo and Jeanette for PACT (1963), ***
Died tragically on the set of a film he was directing, when a light aircraft hit him while setting up the shot.
