Enone van den Bergh (19*-) Actress. **
Grew up in Krugersdorp, initially amateur actress and a member of the Krugersdorp Municipal Dramatic and Operatic Society. **
Turned professional in 1948/9 when she became a member of the first bilingual (Afrikaans/English) company set up by the National Theatre Organisation. Acted for them in Altyd My Liefste (1947/8) , Dear Brutus (1947/8) (under her maiden name Enone Murray), Nag het die Wind Gebring (1948/49), An Inspector Calls (1948/49), Minnaar onder die Wapen (Arms and the Man, 1949), Die Indringer (The Outsider, 1949), The Guardsman (1949), The Glass Menagerie (??* 1949), Macbeth (in Afrikaans, 1950), Hassan (1950).
Films include Onwettige Huwelik (1970), Die Vervlakste Tweeling (1969) and Sononder (1971).
