Created by the directors and cast, the piece tells of the events that mark the transition from boyhood to manhood in the life of a young man who runs away from home because his father sexually abuses him.

Translations and adaptations

Performance history in South Africa

2006: First performed by the Masutsa Dance Theatre Company at the Market Theatre Laboratory's Zwakala Festival (The Laager Theatre, Market Theatre Complex, Johanneburg , 2006) and at the National Arts Festival Fringe 2006. Directed and choreographed by Prince Sithembile Lamla and Ofentse Bodibe with Diphapang Isaac Mokoena, Seabata Lepele, Mbovu Malinga and Tshediso Lawrence Mofali.
