Biography
Contribution to South African theatre
As performer
She has appeared in many productions over the years, including Symbols of Sex and State (Pieter-Dirk Uys, 2000), For Coloured Girls Who Have Considered Suicide/When the Rainbow is Enuf (2002, Fleur du Cap Award for Best Performance in a Musical or Revue, shared with the cast), The Alchemist's Heart, The Lion and the Jewel (State Theatre Pretoria, 2008), Tin Bucket Drum (Con Cowan Theatre, University of Johannesburg, 2015); Nothing but the Truth ; Nongogo (Naledi nomination 2006); Kabi Thulo’s Tsela (an adaptation of Waiting for Godot) and Ukutshona ko Mendi: Did We Dance (directed by Mandla Mbothwe).
