The Good and Faithful Servant is a 1964 one-act play English playwright and author by Joe Orton (1933-1967).

The original text
Originally written as a one-act television play, it was completed by June 1964 but first broadcast by Associated-Rediffusion on 6 April 1967. [1]

1972: Staged by CAPAB, directed by John Burch, featuring Peter Curtis (George Buchanan), Joyce Bradley (Edith), Marion Achber (Mrs. Vealfoy), Lois Butlin (Debbie), Stephen Gurney (Ray) and Elliot Playfair (An old man).
