Biography
Youth
He grew up in Kwazulu where he enjoyed all the traditions of music and dance for which the Zulu people are famous.
Training
Nhlanhla trained with CAP in Cape Town.
Career
He joined Theatre for Africa after training.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He performed in the Raiders series at the Grahamstown Festival and he was also in the award-winning Horn of Sorrow. He was the principal actor in Guardians of Eden.
He had roles in The Diaries of Diesel du Toit (2002), Water Pockets and Now Now (2005).
The first play that he wrote was A Man and a Dog, a one-man play he performed under the auspices of the Siyasanga Cape Town Theatre Company and Artscape in 2008.
