The original text
The play was commissioned for CAPAB as part of the Oude Libertas Commion series. First performed by CAPAB in 1982. (Though the published text says 1981, all other sources, including the programme of the CAPAB production has 1982.)
Published in Seven Plays and Four Monologues by Geraldine Aron (David Philip, 1985).
Translations and adaptations
Performance history in South Africa
1982: Presented by CAPAB Drama opening 2 April 1982 (April 1981 according to the published text). Directed by Nigel Vermaas starring Terry Norton, James Borthwick, Norman Anstey and Diane Wilson. Sets and costumes by Dicky Longhurst, original lighting by Malcolm Hurrell (according to the programme)/John T. Baker (according to the published text).
