He studied at the University of the Witwatersrand Drama Department.

Roles include Alan Strange in Equus directed by Lara Foot; Boytjie in 'n Skewe Sirkel CAPAB, directed by Marthinus Basson. Janneman in Die Eend (Charles Fourie), Joe in Come Back to the Five & Dime Jimmy Dean, Tales from the 1001 Nights, De Flores from The Changeling. He also appeared in Arcadia (1994), Shopping and Fucking, Ek, Anna van Wyk, Beautiful Thing, Wombtide, Art Attack - Oxygen, Metamorphosis, Master Harold...and the boys, Armed Response (2006).
