A South African stage version of Anton Chekhov's short story The Death of a Clerk (Original title: Смерть чиновника). Also translated The Death of a Civil Servant or The Death of a Government Clerk First published in 1883. The tragi-comic story of a man who sneezes on his superior and worries himself to death about it.
Developed as a piece of physical theatre by performance artists Craig Morris, Gerard Bester, Toni Morkel and Maude Sandham, and performed in the Chekhov Festival at the The Fringe at Joburg Theatre in June 2014.
