Twisted Love, adapted by Graeme Messer. A mass murderer, David Harry Dexter, is under police interrogation. The play handles the subject matter in contrasting styles. Realism is juxtaposed with caricature and pastiche, dolls and masks are used along with total realism.
Performed on the National Arts Festival Fringe in 1984, directed by Graeme Messer, design by Messer and Cläre Basel, who was also the stage manager. The cast: Kellam Beard, Andrew Donald, Russel Untiedt.
