The Crafty Tortoise, is a children's play by Fatima Dike, based on black African folk tales. Written and produced at the The Space (Cape Town) in 1978, directed by Pippa Duffy with Errol Hart, Colin Jantjies, Thabiso Koti, Pam Mills, Mary Mthinka and Tiny Skefile. The stage managers were Faruk Hoosain, Hashmet Naidoo, Sally Brown and Jean Naidoo.
