Die Lewe Sonder Jou ("Life without you") is an Afrikaans film by Dirk de Villiers (1924-2009).

The film

The story of Koos and his daughter Patrys, who are living happily in a tiny fisherman's village, but then a rich, sophisticated young man sweeps Patrys off her feet and takes her to live with him in Johannesburg.

Written by Dirk de Villiers and Marie Schutte, directed by Dirk de Villiers with

Co-Producer Faan Bester, composer Erick Smith, cinematographer Peter Davis, editor Diana Ginsberg and sound Whitney Walls.
