Pearl Els is an actress.

Biography

She began her career as Pearl Els in Port Elizabeth, becoming a well known figure in local amateur circles before being appointed by CAPAB.

After she married Czeslav Gawlowski, she worked as an actress, inter alia in radio and film under the name Pearl Gawlowski: appearing in two films (Met Liefde van Adéle (1974) and My Naam is Dingetjie (1975)) and various radio dramas, (e.g Faan se Trein, 17 Junie, 1997).

She passed away on 27 December, 2020, aged 77.
