Iziko Museums of South Africa is an agency of the South African Department of Sports, Art and Culture.

The organization

Popularly referred to simply as Iziko, it manages 11 national museums sited in the city of Cape Town that house natural history, social history and art collections in various historic buildings, which in themselves are also listed as national treasures.

The eleven museums are:

  1. Bertram House
  2. Bo-Kaap Museum
  3. Groot Constantia Manor House
  4. Koopmans-de Wet House
  5. Maritime Centre
  6. Michaelis Collection at the Old Town House
  7. Rust en Vreugd
  8. Slave Lodge and Social History Centre
