Randall was killed in an armed robbery in Sandton, Johannesburg, in December 2001.

Stage roles include Paradise is Closing Down (Revisited) (Pieter-Dirk Uys, 1992).
Randall wrote the play Moenie Try Nie that was produced in 1998.
He also had roles in the television soap operas Egoli (as Hector) and 7de Laan.
