Juan Burgers (?-) is a composer and musician.

Biography
Training
Burgers' musical training was as a concert pianist, both at Pretoria University and subsequently at the University of Cape Town. A formative influence was his piano teacher during his teens, the renowned Durban pedagogue, Ethel Kerkin.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He composed the opera Ubuntu – The Opera (2015). He launched the Ubuntu Opera Company in 2019.
