Contents
Training
David Fick graduated with a Master of Arts in Theatre and Performance from the University of Cape Town in 2005.
Career
He teaches Dramatic Arts at Springfield Convent School, and show studies and script writing at LAMTA.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He has appeared on stage in Edges, Marry Me a Little, A (Sorta) Love Story and You Bet Your Life!, the latter being an original musical co-written with Roland Perold. He has written two further musicals, Over the Rainbow and House of Shadows.
He performed his one-man show, Affirmation, at The Barn in 2004.
With Robin Malan and Diana Wilson, he edited Now I am alone 1 and Now I Am Alone 2, published by Junkets Publisher in 2013.
Awards
His theatre criticism for BroadwayWorld earned him a Silver Arts Journalist of the Year Award in 2016.
