Fanie Bekker (1940s-1970s) was an actor.

Biography
He grew up in Beaufort West.
He married the actress and director Estelle Bekker (Estelle Pentz) and was the father of performer and musician Adrian Bekker.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He made a number of appearances for the Die André Huguenet Geselskap and the state funded companies of NTO and CAPAB over thge years, and appears to have been a founding member of the Bellvillese Afrikaanse Toneelvereniging (BAT), for whom he also performed and directed.
Stage work included Die Nagtegaal (Die André Huguenet Geselskap, 1940), Absolom, my Seun! (Die André Huguenet Geselskap, 1942), Ampie II, Helshoogte (Die André Huguenet Geselskap, 1943), Geleende Vere (Die André Huguenet Geselskap, 1944) ; Liefde in Satyn (André Rousseau Theatre Company, 1947), Germanicus (NTO/BAT 1957), Die Loodswaaiers (KRUIK 1966), Die Dame met die Kamelias (KRUIK 1966), Cyrano de Bergerac (KRUIK 1969), 'n Skip is Ons Beloof (KRUIK 1969), 'n Wingerdstok sal Rank (1971), Stilte Asseblief (BAT 1972), Ai tog die Mansmense!
