Ira Blanckenberg () is a stage, TV and film actress and director, and a drama teacher.

Biography
She studied drama at the University of Stellenbosch in the 1990s,
Ira married her fellow student, the actor Waldemar Schultz, in 1996 and the couple had two children, Kieran Schultz and Dhania Schultz, both performers, like their parents. Kieran died tragically in an accident 2013.
