The Franklin Players is community theatre organisation based in Roosevelt Park, Johannesburg.

The venue

Founded by Harry Falkov and Iris Schuck at the Roosevelt Park Recreation Centre (both named after the famous American President, Franklin D. Roosevelt) in 1962, and it is still running after sixty years. The Franklin Players put on at least three productions a year, including an annual festival of one-act plays, a our mid-year comedy and a big bang year-end musical. Sometimes more shows are done in between.

The society is a member of the South African National Community Theatre Association (SANCTA).
