Pyjama Pour Six ("Pajamas For Six") is a French two-act play by Marc Camoletti (1923 – 2003)[1].

The original text
The play premiered in Paris in 1987 and the text was published by Librairie Théâtrale, Paris, in 1993.
Translations and adaptations
Freely adapted from the French into English as Don't Dress for Dinner by Robin Hawdon (1939-)[2] (at the request of London producer Mark Furness). The English version opened in the West End at the Apollo Theatre in March 1991, directed by Peter Farago and starring Simon Cadell Su Pollard, Jane How and John Quayle. It ran in London for six years and opened on Broadway in 2012.
The French play was also adapted for film in 1988[3] and as a TV movie in 1990.[4]
Performance history in South Africa
1993: Presented by Pieter Toerien by arrangement with Mark Furness, opening at the Leonard Rayne Theatre on 1 April and at the Theatre on the Bay on 11 August. Directed by Rex Garner starring Clive Scott, Mike Huff, Jo da Silva-Penfold, Natasha Sutherland, Claire Wrogemann and Andrew Matthews. Lighting by Jannie Swanepoel, set design by Anne Carghill, costumes co-ordinated by Colleen Moabelo.
2013: Presented by Pieter Toerien and KickstArt, directed by Steven Stead with Natasha Sutherland, James Cuningham, Robert Fridjhon, Emily Child, Nhlakanipho Manqele and Janna Ramos-Violante at the Montecasino Theatre.
