Performance history in South Africa

2006: The show was produced by DSN Productions and performed at the Port Elizabeth Opera House and Guy Butler Theatre in July, August 2006 with a 9-piece band, including Darryl Nel (vocals and keyboard), vocalists Niqui Cloete-Barrass and Marelize Booyens, David van Wyk (drums), Andrew Warneke (bass guitar), Howard Nock (lead guitar), John Lawrie (rhythm guitar), Marlon Louis (trumpet), Kyle du Preez (trombone), and Alison Canter as Peggy Sue.
