An unidentified companion piece, with the characters "Mandeville" and "Plof" was also performed. In the Montagu production the stage consisted of planks set on wine barrels, draped with a carpet from the Montagu hotel.

South African productions

First formal production of a play in Afrikaans. A translation of the Dutch play. Directed by "Oom Lokomotief" (“Uncle Locomotive”- D.F du Toit, editor of Di Patriot), and performed in a private house at Daljosafat near Paarl and at Montagu shortly after 1860.
