The Roodepoort Amateur-toneelorganisasie (RATO) is an amateur theatre organisation based in Roodepoort.
History
Founded some time in the 1950s, by a group of enthusiasts.
Among their productions were plays written by founding member Dirk de Villiers and Anton Prinsloo (e.g. Ek Wag, Glasie, Ou Grote, Broers, Sand and Die Web) in the 1960s.
