Pauline Smith (1883-1959). Novelist, short story writer and playwright.

Biography
She wrote two volumes of short stories The Little Karoo(1927) and Platkop's Children(1935) and one novel The Beadle(1926).
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
She wrote a one-act play, The Last Voyage.
The Beadle was adapted as an Afrikaans TV drama called Die Koster in 1968.
