(“Tomorrow is a Long Day”) by [[Deon Opperman]]. Acclaimed  bilingual (Afrikaans and English) play about young men conscripted into the army and serving on the (South West African [=Namibian]) border to fight the “terrorist” onslaught during the late 1970s. The play explores their attitudes to war, discipline, and each other and “the other”. First performed with students from [[Rhodes University]] in the [[Masker Teater]] at the second Kampustoneel (“Campus Theatre”) Festival in Pretoria in April 1983*?. The first professional production  at the [[Market Theatre]] in 1984.  First published by [[Tafelberg]] in 1986. Revived and  performed at various festivals in 2008-9 (including the [[Inniebos]]-fees, 2008, [[KKNK]] 2009, [[Aardklop]], 2009) produced and directed by [[Albert Maritz]], with [[Robbie Wessels]], [[Sean Else]], [[Tauriq Jenkins]], [[William Michaels]], [[Jan-Hendrik Opperman]].
