Penn's Marionettes was a 19th century company of marionette artists.
A company founded and managed by a professional puppeteer, Henry Penn (fl. 1860s), The company is mentioned by F.C.L. Bosman (1980, p. 188) as performing as part of a "Faney Fair" in celebration of the marriage of the Prince of Wales in Cape Town on 15 May 1863, and later in June in a performance for a "select audience" in a schoolroom in Caledon Street. Bosman statews that this was probably the first time a company using marionettes appeared in the harbour city.
